This is always a handy thing to know, often times organizations will change name leaving the prior system install left with the older organizations name, or owner. Here you can change both the Organization and Owner that is registered to your computer or server.
Please follow these steps:
Run the Registry Editor, by going to Start > Run > [then type] regedit
When the editor is opened you will want to browse to the following directory.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion
Then with the CurrentVersion directory selected perform a back up of the key your are modifying.
To do this click File > Export > [Select your save destination and name the file] > Save
After performing your backup you can change the values of RegisteredOrganization, and RegisteredOwner simply by double-click on them.
I have provided a screen shot of what it should look like when you get to the correct place.
If you notice I highlighted the directory you should be in as well as the only fields that should be modified. If you accidentally modify something you did not mean to modify, just re-import the registry key by double clicking on the file you saved.
